Play’n GO Enters Another iGaming Market in the USA

The Swedish company Play’n Go continues its expansion across the US iGaming markets, having secured approval to enter West Virginia. This is the fourth North American jurisdiction where the company will operate as earlier this year it went live in Michigan and New Jersey in the US, and Ontario in Canada.

The new launch will make Play’n Go’s titles like Reactoonz, Book of Dead, USA Flip and Sweet Alchemy available for the state’s players.

Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n GO Magnus Olsson noted that West Virginia’s regulated iGaming marketplace was thriving and it’s brilliant to be able to finish the year strongly by acquiring a license to serve their games to players in the state.

Olsson also said that players were different in terms of their game preferences in every jurisdiction, of course, but the common thread that ran through all players was that the quality content rose to the top — players wanted to be entertained first and foremost; their games were proving to be a main vehicle of retention for many operators due to their inherent entertainment value.

The CCO added that Play’n GO delivered new entertainment each and every week to players in regulated markets right across the world, and he’s sure that players in West Virginia would enjoy the full Play’n GO portfolio that was unmatched in the industry.

Note that the previous US deals for Play’n Go took place in October and December when the developer went live in New Jersey and Michigan, respectively, via BetMGM, continuing the fruitful relationship with this operator.

The commitment of the game developer to the US iGaming industry growth included more than 50 titles gone live during this year and a number of key hires dedicated to expanding Play’n Go’s presence in the country.

In other news, acquisition of The Mirage Hotel & Casino by Hard Rock International is over.
